Now that a new home renovation program is about to start in Hungary, the aim of which is to increase energy efficiency, let’s briefly review why it is worth modernizing a property and how to go about it.
Very simply, it’s worth upgrading to save money. The rising energy prices of recent years have now made it clear to everyone: it doesn’t matter how much energy we use to reach, say, the right temperature in a room. If the windows close poorly, for example, the heat escapes, so we will need more gas to heat the room. in this case, it can help a lot if we replace the old ones with windows that close well.
But of course this is just a very simple example, energy modernization can be significantly more complicated and multifaceted. The bottom line: in addition to high energy prices, a modernized property saves us money.
How do we approach the transformation? According to experts, the most important step is to insulate the building so that the amount of heat produced does not escape from the heated space. The second important step is to increase the efficiency of the heating system, and last but not least, to replace the shutters, as can be seen from the example outlined at the beginning of our blog post.
And how do we go about it? It is worth asking for the help of an expert who can determine the condition of our property, the extent of the necessary changes and the appropriate technologies.
