Until recently, Pest county had the highest real estate prices after Budapest. Last year, however, according to Duna House, this changed.
Prices in this county rose by an average of 27% last year. But if we compare average real estate values rather than square meter prices, this county has almost overtaken Budapest. Dynamic market right?
While the average real estate value in Budapest was HUF 57 million last year, it is HUF 54 million in this county.
The most expensive settlement in this county is Tihany, where the highest prices per square meter reached HUF 1.6 million. Property prices in the county were mostly raised by the proximity of Lake Balaton, but a third of sales were in Veszprém, where the price of an average 55 square meter panel is HUF 31.5 million.
